Coachella is a yearly Mecca for many Californians. An escape from the every day life. A care free concert reminiscent of the 60’s and Woodstock. But when the economy is at its worst, Coachella jacks up prices keeping many Californians who are struggling out. While I expect this type of betrayal from the Banks and Wall Street, when a concert partakes in corporate greed, charging $269.00 per ticket. Jesus, you can take Scuba Diving Lessons and get 12 hours of dive time for that price.

So lets say the money is not an issue. What if you’re like me and you think most of the Friday lineup is crap with one or two exceptions? What if you just want to go for one day? You’re out of luck. The only solution in my mind is to take the power back by making the concert fail this year. Don’t go.

My advice is this: Take your money out of banks that have taken bailouts but are not being lenient with people who owe them money. Don’t dump any more money in the stock market, watch it crash and don’t go to Coachella this year.
